Locate2u integrates with Salesforce through the Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs. Work orders, service appointments, accounts, and contact data sync from Salesforce to Locate2u. Delivery confirmations, proof of delivery photos, GPS timestamps, and driver status updates flow back into Salesforce as custom objects or updates to existing records.
Salesforce Field Service can show a technician's last known location when they check in to a work order, but it does not provide continuous real-time GPS tracking of vehicles. It cannot show live vehicle positions on a fleet map, calculate real-time ETAs based on traffic, or monitor vehicle health and fuel consumption.
